The Blue Pacific Juniper bush is a wonderful addition for your foundation plantings or in shrub borders. One fact about Junipers is that they do not flower, but in fall they will produce small purple berry like orbs on the foliage. Juniperus will not grow taller that 1 foot in height but can grow up to 4-8 feet in length to occupy a large size in the garden beds. Best grown in full sunlight but can survive in dappled shade. Junipers are drought tolerant and deer resistant. Be sure to water thoroughly the first 1-2 months of planting to establish a strong root system. You can even plant these in hanging baskets to watch their long vines trail over in a cascade effect. The green leaves have a blue hue and will become a darker color as temeratures fluctuate.
